Emilie began working in the college counseling office in 1986 and became the director of college counseling in 1990. After a year-long sabbatical during the 2012-2013 academic year, she returned to Cate in 2013 as an assistant director of admission, a faculty member in the English department, and a writer and editor in the communications department. This year she continues her work in the admissions office as the director of financial aid, and she will again be teaching two sections of 10th grade English.
