BA, CHC, University of Oregon
MA, University of California, San Diego
A native of San Diego, Taylor studied math and English through the Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon. After earning her BA in 2008, she returned home to UCSD where she taught college writing for two years and received her MA in English Literature and Composition in 2010. Just weeks after graduation, Taylor headed back up the coast to the College of Education at the University of Oregon to complete the MEd. program with a focus in secondary mathematics and English. While pursuing her MEd, Taylor also had the opportunity to teach math at Marist Catholic High School in Eugene. During her summers, Taylor worked as a teaching assistant, coach, and dorm parent at Andover and Northfield Mount Hermon.
When she's not reading, listening to Paul Simon, or talking to someone about Britain, you can probably find her out on the soccer field. She is thrilled to be a part of the Cate community.
